Pharmacy 2U

Please be advised that the practice is in no way affiliated with the online organisation 'Pharmacy2U'. We are aware that there has been a recent campaign by this company, sending leaflets to our patients and we would urge you to ignore these and continue to use your local pharmacy or dispensary.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 2 WORKING days to process your repeat prescription from the time that we receive it, or 3 WORKING days when the week includes a bank holiday.

Please use the repeat prescription form for ordering medication either by posting it to the surgery or bringing it in. If you require the prescription to be posted to you please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using this service, and this can be done at the practice during normal opening hours.

If you have a repeat prescription query, please contact the practice on 01775 724088 and select option 3 between 0900-1700 only.

Dispensing

If you live more than one mile (in a straight line) from a dispensing chemist you can request that your prescriptions be dispensed at the surgery.

The dispensary is open between 08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Friday, but closed from 1300-1400 every Thursday for training. If medicines are required urgently when the dispensary is closed patients should contact the Out of Hours Service on 111 for further advice and guidance.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review their regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions as this process is an essential element of your ongoing care by the Practice.
