We are now offering early evening and Saturday morning appointments with a Practice Nurse or a telephone consultation with a GP - depending on availability on each day. These will take place from 1830-2000 Monday to Friday, and 0800-0930 on Saturdays, and are for ROUTINE issues only.
Please note that these are for Beechfield patients only, and can be booked through the normal appointments system.

DR TARGETT - DEPARTURE
Dr Targett, as many patients will already be aware, has been unwell for some months and unable to attend work since July as a result. Sadly, it has been agreed that he will not return to work at Beechfield, and will formally leave us at the end of November 2019. We wish him every success for the future, whichever direction it may take.
Although we continue to recruit further GPs, we have now appointed Dr Mark Beaver who will join us from a practice in Essex shortly (currently moving house, so the date is uncertain) and we have appointed Dr Nkiru Oluwatosin who will join us in a salaried role on completion of her Registrar training at the practice at the end of 2019.
See our "Vacancies at Beechfield" page for details of opportunities for a Salaried GP.
EXTENDED ACCESS - from 1 OCTOBER 2018
Please click HERE for details of a new initiative to extend access to Primary care services across the whole of the South Lincolnshire area.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST
The Practice collects information from you following visits to the surgery with regard to the way that you feel that the visit went - in short this is called the "Friends and Family Test" and asks whether, based on your latest visit, you would recommend the surgery to your Friends and Family. We collect this information primarily through the SMS texting service, but it can also be fed back at the surgery through the forms and collection boxes held there. This information is fed back to NHS England on a monthly basis and we are able to react to emerging trends if and when they are noted.
For previous data please click HERE which covers all of 2018.

STRUGGLING TO COPE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER'S DRINKING?
Al-Anon Family Groups support people who are struggling to cope with a family member's drink problem. There are over 750 groups throughout the UK, and Spalding has it's own group. It meets every Monday evening at 1945 at the Ivo Day Centre, 67A Albion Street, Spalding PE11 2AU. It is a completely confidential and anonymous service that is funded as a registered charity, and supported by voluntary contributions. It is a walk in service - simply turn up and you will be assured of a warm welcome. More information is available by clicking here.
We are always keen to hear the views of our patients in relation to the services that we provide, and attached are the results of three recent surveys with regard to our Nurse Team, our Dispensary Services and an externally assessed patient feedback analysis of our GPs.
Many thanks to all of those that took part - the extremely positive results are very encouraging. We will continue to run ad-hoc surveys of this nature for the future, as we are able to learn from them and- where necessary - adapt our services accordingly.
