Please click HERE for details of a new initiative to extend access to Primary care services across the whole of the South Lincolnshire area.
FLU CLINICS 2018
We will be running walk-in (no appointment needed) Flu Clinics on Saturday 20 and Saturday 27 October from 0830 - 1200, and again on Saturday 3 November from 0830-1200. More details are available HERE
You may have received a leaflet in the post inviting you to get your repeat prescriptions from a company called Pharmacy2U. We would like to advise all of our patients that this service is not supported or endorsed by us as your GP Surgery, or by your usual local pharmacy.
Pharmacy2U is a distance selling, internet only, pharmacy based on an industrial estate. They do not deal with patients in person, and cannot order medication on your behalf.
Prescriptions processed by Pharmacy2U are delivered by Royal Mail, rather than being handed over to you by a trained member of our team, or our own delivery driver.
We believe that an internet business like Pharmacy2U is no substitute for your local dispensary or pharmacy. We advise you to ignore all correspondence from Pharmacy2U and continue to use your current pharmacy or dispensary who will continue caring for you and your family.
Pharmacy2U is not affiliated with or connected your local dispensary and has absolutely no connection to the practice. If you have received a leaflet from them, please ignore it.
DR CORLETT RETIREMENT
After 33 years at both Church Street Surgery and latterly Beechfield Medical Centre, Dr Corlett has decided to hang up his stethoscope at the end of July, and he will no longer see patients from that date. We no longer operate personal lists at the practice, and those patients who may normally have seen Dr Corlett may ask to be seen by any available GP of their choice. Dr Corlett offers his thanks to the many patients he has dealt with through the years for their loyalty and support and wishes everyone well for the future.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST
The Practice collects information from you following visits to the surgery with regard to the way that you feel that the visit went - in short this is called the "Friends and Family Test" and asks whether, based on your latest visit, you would recommend the surgery to your Friends and Family. We collect this information primarily through the SMS texting service, but it can also be fed back at the surgery through the forms and collection boxes held there. This information is fed back to NHS England on a monthly basis and we are able to react to emerging trends if and when they are noted.
For previous data please click HERE which covers all of 2017.

STRUGGLING TO COPE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER'S DRINKING?
Al-Anon Family Groups support people who are struggling to cope with a family member's drink problem. There are over 750 groups throughout the UK, and Spalding has it's own group. It meets every Monday evening at 1945 at the Ivo Day Centre, 67A Albion Street, Spalding PE11 2AU. It is a completely confidential and anonymous service that is funded as a registered charity, and supported by voluntary contributions. It is a walk in service - simply turn up and you will be assured of a warm welcome. More information is available by clicking here.
RECENT PRACTICE SURVEYS
We are always keen to hear the views of our patients in relation to the services that we provide, and attached are the results of three recent surveys with regard to our Nurse Team, our Dispensary Services and an externally assessed patient feedback analysis of our GPs.
Many thanks to all of those that took part - the extremely positive results are very encouraging. We will continue to run ad-hoc surveys of this nature for the future, as we are able to learn from them and- where necessary - adapt our services accordingly.
