In March 2025 the practice was awarded High Commendation at the first annual Lincolnshire Primary Care Awards event. This event was organised by the Primary Care Workforce Team at NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board and the awards were judged by a panel of individuals who champion staff wellbeing.
Teams across the 4 pillars of Primary Care (General Practice, Dentistry, Optometry and Pharmacy) in Lincolnshire were nominated for their work in line with the 7 elements of the NHS People Promise which include compassion & inclusivity, recognition & reward, listening to staff, ensuring a safe & healthy work environment, promoting a learning culture, allowing flexibility and encouraging teamwork.
Our team are incredibly proud of the environment they have cultivated, and the support offered to them in so many ways by the partner, the management team and by each other on a daily basis. We are incredibly grateful to receive this recognition.
Some members of our team also received long service awards – Sara Harris, our Dispensary Manager and Anne Coddington, our Cardiovascular Disease Specialist Nurse for 30+ years service and Debra Cooper, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner for 40+ years. These ladies have dedicated most of their working lives to helping patients across different areas of healthcare and we are very lucky to have them in our team.

Our practice nurses provide a range of clinics related to long term health conditions, minor illnesses, family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks, wound dressing, and some are also qualified to undertake smears. The role of Specialist Neighbourhood Nurses (SNN) within primary care.An SNN plays a vital role in the healthcare industry by serving as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers. The primary responsibility of an SNN is to ensure that patients receive the appropriate care and services they need to manage their unique health conditions. This may involve coordinating medical appointments, arranging for specialized services, and coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. In addition to coordinating care, an SNN also plays an important role in educating patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options. They may provide information on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and other strategies for managing chronic health conditions. Overall, the role of the SNN is critical in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care possible. They help to ensure that patients receive the care and support they need to manage their health conditions and improve their overall health and wellbeing. |
